Went to our first agility show of the
season today Sunday 7th March, it was an unafiliated show run by 'Tailwaggers' under the BAA rules. Wispa
won the Power and Speed And it was Tag's first attempt at a show, as our training has been badly disrupted due to
the weather conditions we have had over winter, I waited to see the courses before I ran him. The Power and Speed for
his level was a lovely flowing course, so we had a go, in the queue I suddenly realised that he had only done the Dog Walk
at full height once before, that boy knows no fear, he went clear in the Power section, getting his contact's like in
training, and went clear in the speed section, to finish 3rd overall, but Rosettes only went to 2nd, never mind, I was really
pleased with his efforts, I didn't put him any of the other classes entered, as I felt they were a bit too complicated
for this stage in the game.
Tag went to his 2nd unafilliated Agility show today
27th March Absolutley Barking Agility Addicts, he completed two rounds, and finished in 5th place in Agility and 3rd
place with a Trophy in the Jumping. I was very pleased with him, medium, small and toy size dogs all competed for
the awards, and each time a medium dog won, so he did very well against the 'bigger dogs', as Tag is inexperienced,
I ran him as a Toy sized dog, he does qualify, as these dogs are under 11". See his photo with his Rosettes
and Trophy on his page.
We went to Shrewsbury Showground today 4th April
for the TAG agility show, and Todd came along to meet up with his brother and sister, not bad photo's of the boys,
but the ones of Devon are not so good, hope you like them.
